i have posted this question once before. i have 1964 fairlane w a 65-289 w/ hi po manifolds and a 6 bolt bellhousing. i'm going to use a heh-g toploader with this combo. can any one tell me which z-bar i need?? will the mustang 66-67 hi po work?? or???

If you got the 6 bolt block you simply need a 6" wide mustang Z bar. Anything from a 3 speed or 4 speed 65-67 should work I think.

The 5 bolt Z bar is 7.25" wide

I believe you will find that the 289 Hi-Po exhaust manifolds required a unique equalizer bar and the arms were oriented differently from the other engine combinations for that reason.
