I saw these on ebay and I know all that has been said about Pro Comps, but for $800, I could finish them up and still have a killer set of heads for a little over a thousand bucks! What do you guys think? Man, they just seem too good for that price. Or, do they need some extra work and would you be better off spending the money for a set of CHI's? I have to stop looking at stuff on eBay don't I?

I have the ProComps for my small block and contrary to what a lot of people say, they are great heads.
They are like any other casting; you wouldn't just by a bare Edelbrock casting and slap it together without checking clearances and such. I bought mine from a head shop on eBay and they assembled them and checked them out thoroughly before they sent them.
I am 100% satisfied with mine.
You are correct; eBay can be a curse or a blessing.
