We went through this topic a few months ago.

The eaton site is mainly about the Eaton company and differentials in general. The point is; Eaton is now the vendor for several brands of differentials, some that are still marketed as separate brands, it's just one big family.

The point is, in the end you will still have to make the decision over which type is best for your use. Mainly the choice is mechanical locker vs Clutch type. All the other stuff is mainly frosting, the Cake is how the differential locks and how it senses when to lock.
