Soooooo, im in the middle of building a whole car - a life long decision im sure im gonna regret one day hahahaha

I ordered the center link and the idler arm frame bushings.

I got 2 of exactly the same bushings, i called Dearborn and they said they are the same size.

Here is the MOOG one from oreillys :
Moog K8042 - Idler Arm Bushing | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Here is the frame one ( bracket end ) from autozone :
Duralast/Idler Arm Bushing (FB180) | 1963 Ford Galaxie 8 Cylinders 5.8L 4BL OHV | AutoZone.com

One is $16, the other is $10. They are exactly the same bushing, same numbers, size etc.

Can anyone confirm it is correct that the idler gets the same size for both ? reason i ask is the frame mount one looks bigger, Center link looks smaller

Thanks !

So it appears Dearborn is wrong .
Very wrong , which surprises me .

I just measure the idler arm , the center link bushing is definitely smaller .
Now where do I find one ?

Not only are they two different sizes they are also different lengths. I got mine through Rare Parts. They have a website. The part number is in my steering rebuild post. Let me look that up. I found it. It is part number 15310.
