If he want's $68,000 for that Ranchero I doubt he will get any calls even if you could read the phone number.

Ahhhhhhhh, I remember seeing this Ranchero on a web site the guy had up and running several years ago. I believe he had set it up for road racing. Said he had had sunk over 80K in this car.
If I remember correctly he had built this one and another that looked just like it that he used for pulling the trailer that he hauled it around on.
When Opentracker said he was going to build his road racing ranchero I tried to locate this guys web site but to no avail.
68k he's asking huh
was this picture taken at Knott's?

Maybe there's more to this story than has been told. I won't rush to judgement.

Here is the link, I found it in my favorites stash. I believe I might have shared this Ranchero with this board a few years back?
68k is a lot of money I know but you all know how fast you can spend on your baby if you are not keeping to a tight budget or over the course of several years. I have seen plenty of rods where guys have strived for perfection and easily dumped 45-50k in a car that is not worth 20k on the open market. But then their are those exceptional buyers that are looking for something truly unique. I saw a 64 Falcon hit 36K once, made me feel damn good about mine.
You guys should not be so fast to judge.
I think it is an awesome piece of work this guy put together; weather it is worth 65k is another question.
How much is your Falcon worth, not how much can you get for it but how much is it worth to you? Taking into consideration all you would have to do to replace it. I have some photos of Falcons that were built to perfection then totaled and the owners built them back from ground up. Pretty amazing could not even imagine how much they must have spent to build the same one twice, but then that’s love and devotion for yah!
