i want to upgrade my 1986 ranger 4x4 2.3L 5spd by using the crank/rods /pistons from a 98-01 2.5L with a little hotter cam and a .040" overbore. well since i had no idea injector size was easily changed i had not looked into it-so i came across an article that said stock was 14lb/hr and 17lb/hr was available from some ford vehicles and 19lb/hr was also a choice. my goals are a modest 140-150 hp ,stock was 110hp -with 12 more cubes ,more compression,and more cam should i choose stock-17lb or 19lb ?also what does ford call the STOCK fi system on the 1986 ranger ? any help will be great! thank you!
