Hey guys, quick question (and hopefully an easy one).

I'm working on assembling an '89 5.0 and don't have any original hardware (bolts and such). Bought a stainless bolt kit; however, it didn't include the 4 studs that the stock manifold would have had. Judging by the torque sequence diagram (tightening), bolts 3,5,9 and one unnumbered stud, front most and right (looking at the motor from the front) use a bolt with a stud attached to the head.

Is there any real need for these? Clearly something must have been attached or is going to need to be attached that I don't know about yet, and any idea where I can get these?

Thanks!

As long as they are not necessary for an accessory mount or something like a heated air inlet stove, no.

Your local dealer should be able to source them.

If your useing all stock EFI setup and fead you would need 4 stud bolts. Not necessary depending on if your not using the metal heater tubes eliminates 2 stud bolts. One left asnd right front needed with single poly belt fead. I probably have some extras.
