I have a 64 Galaxie conv. I am looking to replace the interior trim one the sides of the windshield. I am aware that the fastback and conv. are different parts. My question is are the conv. ones the same for other years? Will 63 or 63 1/2 be the same as the 64's? Thanks.

yes 63-64 are the same. good luck finding them. i've resigned myself to having mine rechromed

Keep watching ebay and where ever else. They are almost unobtanium, especially in good condition. Took me a long time finding any that was better than my own and got super lucky when a car club member had some to sell. Think the worst piece of all to find good is the section across the top, it's always rusted, even the one i have now that is rechromed is showing a couple dots of rust. If yours isn't super bad it would be easier to have it redone and a lot quicker.

I luckly won the top piece on ebay, waiting for it to show up and hope that it 1. is the correct thing, 2. that it looks as good as the pictures showed. Its a one piece at at a time project. Thanks for the help. I will keep my eyes open for the side ones now.
