Hey, under all that crud there's a real engine bay!! Break out the scrub brush, the abrasive pads, and don't forget the band-aids for the busted knuckles. Get it cleaned real good, scrub it down and if you're on the cheap, a few cans of Kyrlon semi-gloss black and you're on the way to almost like new city in there! I bet you don't even miss the, uh, you know..(I can't bring myself to say the kind of car you used to have...
)

He finally popped his cherry


Castrol Super Clean will remove all crud and rust colored deposits from the engine bay. It will also remove the black engine bay paint leaving the original green overspray and bare metal. Then it will take nicely to semi-gloss black without worry offisheyes or peeling. Leave the Castrol stuff on for about 5 minutes after totally spraying the engine and compartment down with it and spray the hell out of it with water and you won't believe your eyes. It has a lot of acid in it.
