Hi! Okay, so I recently purchased a 2000 Ford Mustang V6, and I'm absolutely loving it. I'm kinda young, so I have a LOT to learn about cars (this is my third car, and first car that I actually like). The vehicle needs a bit of work to be done, and of course, I have a good idea in my head of what I want to do to my car to make it perfect for me.
I'm starting off with fixing certain issues that I'm encountering with it and making the appropriate repairs before customizing it. One thing is the audio, and I'm an audio guy, so having a car with a speaker system consisting of nothing but tweeters just doesn't work out for me. After doing some forum surfing, I discovered that some amplifiers may be blown.
Before I look into the amplifiers, I want to test out a new CD player to see if that would fix the problem. A friend of mine has a CD player/ radio that can fit the car, but there are certain things I need to buy before doing that: apparently I need an installation kit. I'm planning on removing the stock CD player and tape deck, but I know I need to buy certain things so I'm not driving around with a massive empty space where the stock CD player use to be. Is there any particular site I can use to purchase the required items to install a new CD player in addition to items (maybe a cover or something) that can fill in that old space where the stock CD player use to be?
