No it is easy done,just remove the outer lever. Only need to drop V.B to get to actual selector seal in case.
Kick down seal and shaft.
I have a small leak at the kickdown shaft, Do you have to drop the pan to replace the seal?
Also was trying to hook up kick down cable ( Lokar ) and the shaft wont turn. Any suggestions?

It should move,the lever is spring loaded against the valve.If it is jammed chances are it was assembled incorrect,that is lever wasn't aligned correctly when valvebody was fitted.
