I have just recently purchased a 65 mustang. I just had it shipped from AZ. Anyway..I don't know much about it because the man who previously owned has passed away. There is a small little box mounted below the panel by the steering column. There is a switch on the left which powers the antenna, two red lights right next to it and another identical switch to the right of that. I have no clue what the switch on the right is for, but now suddenly a car that was running like a dream a couple weeks back is not firing up and those lights are on. I am pretty sure the starter may be fried because when I turn the key there is a high pitched whining. However a few people have saw that switch and mentioned that it may be a "dead man switch" and I may just need to find the reset. I am just learning about the classics now and don't know much. If anyone has any idea what those lights and one switch represent, please let me know. I am wondering if anyone has a similar setup out there. Thanks again.
