yeah i know im late to this thread but hey....
i was there, was nice to meet Deb after all this time lol. i never hang around my car at a show so it was a rarity to see me there. my buddy 2 cars down with another Cougar even bought me a turkey leg that wasnt half bad.
i agree with the way too many Mustangs. there was only 1 68 Galaxie there (country squire.. close enough) and i believe only 27 Cougars. seemed like about 60% of the show was Mustangs. a friend of mine with a yellow tubbed 66 Fairlane has even been doubting going next year. i have been wondering as well if its worth going next year because of the Mustang overgrowth.
on another happier note, i saw that you spoke highly of that 86 Notchback Stang 67Fastback. i had the pleasure to meet the owner of the car and check it out closely when he had a photo shoot for the May '06 issue of Car Craft. i was also honored to share the cover with him in my Cougar for that issue. super nice guy and a hell of a junkyarder too. which is another one of my favorite pastimes ha ha.
