Hey all,
I considering installing a line lock in my Falcon. Can anyone tell me what if any gains can be made on the 1/4 mile time with a std tranny or is it just reduced reaction time and really cool burnouts on cruise night?

The benefit comes from easier burnouts. Especially for guys like me that have a hard time side stepping the clutch, holding the manual brakes, and manipulating the accelerator to get smoky. But im also clumbsy and uncoordinated.

A line lock well hold the car in the staging lights so you don't roll out and red light. and if you are good it can incress you reaction time by you being able to lock the car right at the edge of cutting the staging light.

Combine a line-lock with a 2-step rev limiter and a set of slicks..... and you are REALLY cooking with gas.
