Lower 1st & 2nd Gears for a C4

I have a 1940 Ford coupe with a 5.0 Ford crate engine, (345 HP) 2.79 rear end, and a C4. (Stock 196 The 2.79 rear end is great for interstate driving but I would like more pickup around town in 1st and 2nd out of a C4. I do not want to go to the trouble of putting in an AOD, but I do need to get a rebuilt C4 with a 2000 stall converter.

Can I get a rebuilt C4 with lower 1st and 2nd gears? I so, where and what to I ask for?
