i'm trying to install some new standard lower control arms and i cant seem to get the end with the bushing to go up into the frame. these arms came with two cup like washers do these go on the inside on each side of the bushing? or do they actually need to go in at all.

washers go on outside i would assume, but mine doesnt have washers
sometimes its a tight fit, but it should go in with a little persuasion

I've never seen washers on the LCA mounting points, usually they just go on straight onto the bushing. I just did my '67's and I had no washers and none came off the originals. Are the two washers for the stabilizer kit holes possibly?hence their cup shape. It should be a snug fit regardless and you'll need to work them back a forward a bit to get them in. HTH Stu
