I heard that Magnaflows are better than Flowmasters, comments?

When I went to the Magnaflow site their muffler program doesn't have Galaxies. Anyone know what model number fits a 67 Galaxie with 2 1/2" exhaust (466 ci)? Also, who makes the exhaust that goes over the rear axle?

If you have a muffler shop in your area, especially one that's been there a long time, they should have the pattern cards for bending your pipes.

Good info, however it looks like most of the mufflers are designed for newer cars with a cat system.

You should be able to make just about any muffler fit, but there may not be a pipe kit for your particular application. Any muffler shop can bend and fabricate connector and tail pipes for your car, but they likely won't be mandrel bends, if that is important to you.
