I have a spunky little 351C and I have a Mallory mechanical distributor . What, if any, difference will I see by going to a vacuum type.
The idea is to eventually go with a complete MSD ignition, but that will come after the Aussie heads.
Any help will be appreciated.

Nothing as far as seat of pants feel I think.
Vac advance "can" help fuel economy it idle by bumping up timing and can help take a few degrees of heat out of the motor too by running the idling timing up.
All the power side is done by centrifugal advance.
