OK, so that's not true, as the pump bypass spring sets the high-pressure type, and pump displacement enables high-volume if clearances allow it -or- high-pressure if they don't and the bypass is set. Basic hydraulics. But your posts are a bit odd, don't directly respond to the thread, like a spammer setting-up post counts. 🤔The factory pumps are fine. These are just 30% higher volume so they bump the oil psi. On the camaro, it had a new oring with the stock pump. I just didn’t like the pressure so I changed the pump to see an increase.
