Mexican block

a great alternative for a guy not wanting to spend 2000 on an aftermarket block but wants to run 500-600hp through a stock block, far and away better than the thin latemodel 302 blocks.

Mexican block

Hi woody1,I went to the sbf site you posted and read that the Mexican blocks came in trucks.I have a 1974 Maverick 302 engine in my 1963 Falcon. I went out and looked for the nipples on the front of the block and it looks as if I have one in my Falcon.the only thing that I'm not sure of is that the casting #s on my block are D4DE, the post on the other site said that the the Mexican blocks started with D1 numbers.you have any ideas on what I may have ?
