Im replacing my buddies fuel pump tomorrow on his 96 Mazda Millenia and was wondering if anyone here has done one. I havent even seen the car and was wondering about special tools needed, fuel line dissconnect ect.....

Its kinda a Ford............:)

I've done it. I believe you need a special line disconnect tool. Other then that, its a pretty strait forward pain in the @$$. If I remember right, its in the trunk RIGHT up next to the non removable seat back support. Have fun!

Done! Never again. There is 3 access panels and none of them are for the fuel pump. I managed to do it without removing the tank, but I had to drop it then finaggle the pump out of a hole in the trunk right up by the back of the rear seat. PITA. Whats worse is the guy waited as I did it. Watched every move. I once turned around to go take a leak and bumped into the sumbich because he was right behind me. I guess I could of used him to shake it off. Its almost a 2 person job.lol.
