Hey guys, more problems here today. I got my new converter today from spec right torque converteres here in redding to find out that it wont mount up to my fly wheel. The fly wheel has a rib around it the sticks up before it gets to the teeth. So this converter its on the rib, it wont bolt down flat! So this is the deal, What to do now? Its a 3000 stall for my 351C/C6 combo. I got the fly wheel I have currently out a van with a windsor in it if that makes any difference. Any idea on what to do now would be really great. Thanks.

what transmission did the van have in it? I'm thinking it should've been a c6, but I've seen them with c4's and AOD's (later on). I had a similar problem with "bastardizing" a powerglide onto a 351w, but found a flexplate from JW performance that was drilled for all popular converter bolt circles. It was expensive at almost $200, but well worth it!
