Here is the deal.

Here are the two tires specs.

MT ET Street.

28 x 11.50 x 15 8.6 tread 10.9 section 27.5 tall

Hoosier Quick Time Pro Drag

28 x 11.50 x 15 10.0 tread 11.2 section 28 tall

Even though the Hoosier is a little wider and taller I've been told that the MT ET Street would be a better one to use.

I will need as much traction as possible so I wanna buy the better tire in this case!

You guys have any luck with Hoosiers?

Will they act like a MT ET Street would for traction?

Worse? as good ? better?

Thanks guys......DT.

Victor recently changed to Hoosiers on Project 460. 60fts are in the 1.4X now... from 1.5's. He says they are more consistant as well (comparing to ET Drags).

I have tried both tires and I don't think there is an difference between the 2. In my opinion, if you think traction is going to be a problem, get the tire with the biggest footprint. Better yet get a real slick. They will hook even better.

I dont know much about the Hoosier tire line, but isnt the Pro Drag comparable to the ET Drag? If so, then it should hook better/more consistantly than the ET Street.
