Hey guys and gals! I've got an '06 Ranger Sport, 4x2 V6.
What's a good muffler, to give me that low rumble without sounding like a fart muffler or too blatty?
I would be willing to spend upwards to $300 Canadian, since I live in Canada......Ideas?

I don't know if you can get the low V-8 rumble out of a motor thats sort 2 cylenders

A V6 has its own sound. you might try some flow-tech, or glass packs, or borlands..

It really depends on the angle of the cylinder banks. Most of the Rangers (if not all of them) were 60 degree V6's. 90 deg V6 engines sould totally different. The 60's all sound similar to an exotic sports car with the right exhaust setup. We had a guy come to work & pick up a 4 wheeler the other day that had a S-10 with a 2.8...don't remember what brand exhaust he had (might have been edelbrock??) but it sounded great. Not loud at all..but noticeable. A co-worker has a '94 Probe GT and it sounds just like a jap motorcycle. Kind of cool...but it's all in the resonant tuning of the system. I suppose a set of tubular headers would help a lot.
