Has anyone tried fitting/using 5.0L Mustang shorty headers, factory or aftermarket, on a '65-'67 Galaxie with a 289? Will they fit? Anything has to be better than the stock manifolds. Thanks!

Hello,

I just called Summit Racing and was told that Headman makes a Shorty Header for the 67 Galaxies with the Column Shifters.

I have actualy had some luck now. A shorty header that is actual for a 1991 F150 with a 351w the headers I used are from Headman Part number 89470.

Now on to some head porting to take advantage of the new headers.

It's one year later, and I finally got around to painting and installing the Headman shorty headers for the late 80's early 90's F-150 on my '67. They fit perfectly, with plenty of room to clear the steering and shift linkage on the driver's side. Thanks for the replies!
