Need more updates!

One question - with the Cadillac seats you get the integrated shoulder harness which seemed perfect until I found out they don't fit well. I don't like the roof mounted shoulder belt and I don't want to have anything hanging down there so I'm looking for a solution to have the shoulder belt either integrate with the seat or maybe have a bracket coming off of the seat to route a floor mounted shoulder harness reel.

How are you going to handle the shoulder belt?

I ended up chopping up the Cadillac seats and using them for the back seats. I wanted something close to buckets in the back since I will have a waterfall center console, but I will have the apholstry guy delete the arm rests. For the front I ended up buying Procar seats. Probably just a lap belt for the fronts.

I feel bad for abondoning this thread. It seems it is either work on the car or keep the thread up to date......first world problems, right!

I got the core support completely shaved of all unnecessary holes, painted and worked on some radiator support brackets.

The rear package shelf would not alow for my planned 6x9's so it was easier to cut out what was there and make some new mounts from scratch.

Nothing like seeing and hearing the motor run at the engine builders. A few too many adult beverages were consumed on this day....

Quickfuel Brawler 750
Comp Cam
Original rebuilt heads
Edelbrock aluminum intake
FPA headers
CVF Racing serpentine system
Aluminum valve covers

too much to list......

I absolutely love everything you are doing. That engine sounds amazing and I love the front accessory brackets. I'm going to follow your lead with the package shelf speaker mounts.

Keep up the awesome work and keep the updates coming!!

The drivers door had a squeek when I rolled it up and it was driving me nuts. I knew if I did not fix it now, I would be kicking myself for years to come. This one intimidated me a bit, but thanks to the forum members I got through it. Smooth as 1969 now!!

All the electronics (battery, relays, fuse block, stereo amp, etc. are installed in a sliding drawer. The drawer slider have locks for both in and out. Also installed a motion sensor to kick on the trunk LED's. It is hiding in between the trunk inner/outter skin. Pretty cool when people walk up to the trunk when it's open and the lights come on. No motion for 90 seconds and they turn off. It is infrared triggered so anything in the trunk will not trigger them.

Not sure if it's my computer or something else but the pictures are really tiny and I can't enlarge them.
