Thank you sir. Not sure if that's the best way, but it's how I was taught to measure the stroke.I like your #1 and #4 method of 390 checking.
No body mods that I know of. I think that's just the lens or carGreat vid! Is there something done to the fenders to make them look "slopy" or is that an effect of the camera lense?
I'll bet that (like me), you're so used to looking at the '65 body lines, that these quarters just play tricks on your mind. It's weird to me the changes they made for '66. Seems like they weren't radical enough to warrant the cost of retooling everything to make these "updates". I'm still partial to the '65 straight lines, but nothing wrong with these either!Great vid! Is there something done to the fenders to make them look "slopy" or is that an effect of the camera lense?
Yes, the fenders are also different. Partly annoying to me, since it cuts the amount of useable parts for both years in half. At least a few of the parts change over, but really a surprising number of little changes.Yes, Jazz!I
I guess I never noticed the different fender profiles of the 65-66, especially the "shoulder" under the C-Pillar. And do the front fenders have a slight swoop to make the lower at the front? Or is that an optical illusion?
I do prefer the 65 slab-side a bit more, but the 66 is an interesting mix of sublte curves and straight angles.
