Hi, all,

While underneath the car, I noticed that the flywheel is exposed. Does anyone know where I can get a dust cover? I'm having the clutch replaced in the next month or so, so I figure now is a good time to do it. There was some discussion about this on this thread...

It appears that it was common for truck engines to not have this cover, which makes sense, as my engine is a '68 truck engine.

Tranny is a 4 speed toploader.

Thanks!

It doesn't make any difference if the engine is from a truck or car it's the bellhousing that makes the difference. The car flywheel covers for all Galaxie big blocks all the way from 60 or 61 on up are the same even later model Mustangs with FE motors.

Don't think you'll have any luck at the junk yards. Ebay or one of the Galaxie or Mustang suppliers. But very one thinks they are gold, so be prepared for an outrageous price.
