The cast number is E0AE D3C 2E7.
Also, how to you tell the difference
between a 28oz & 50oz flexplate?
The one that came off of the motor
was a 157tooth count. Theweight that
on it is 4 1/4" long, 3/4" wide,
and 1/4" thick. I'm hoping that it's
28oz so that I can use the flywheel
off of my car.I know the motor is a
302, but don't what year or anything
else. It was in a 68 Cougar that I
bought because I was told it was a
rebuilt 289. I had planned on putting
it in my 66 coupe. The motor was a
Ford reman crate with only 1500 miles
since rebuild. My mechanic pulled the
intake and it was nice and clean under-
neath and he's confident that it was
a reman.
Sorry it was so long.

The EOAE number indicates that the block is a 90 or later block, and the "2E7" indicates that it was cast on may 7, 1992.
