My man Dave has done it again. He knows how to make power. His latest build was a 527 Chevy motor. Truly Impressive!!

He built my 347 Stroker motor(415/440TQ) about a year ago. He just got done building a 572 Chevy big block motor for a customer. Get this.......Heads flow 410cfm intake off of some Australian heads they no longer make, runs 14.5:1 compression, 280/290 duration cam @ .050, peak power comes at 5200rpms. I was just truly impressed on the power this engine made when he told me. He estimated around 850-900HP. Cost to build around $8k-10k.

This engine made 996HP and 815ft lbs of Torque

Damn nice!

Now, when he makes a less than 450ci small block run those numbers...I'll be seriously impressed. That's slightly more power than my Dad's small block Unlimited Late Model motor...at 429ci!
