It is the rear tray behind the rear seat. This tray is one piece formed around the tops of the seat and comes down in between the seats with a speaker grill inbetween, and then goes all the way back to the back glass. Here is a pic but it's not a verry good angle.
OK, you want the rear Metal Dash like what I had in my '64 T-bird, but your's is a '66, 7 liter Galaxie, right?
Is that 7 liter package any diffrent than any other '66 Galaxie?

Yes it is diffrent. The 7-litre and the XL's have the same tray. The other versions are a flat plane type. I posted a pic in the above post of the 7-litre ones.
Okay. What do you want it made out of? Aluminum, acrylic, extrude PVc(my choice), or what else? I will make it for you as you are a local (Oak Point) and I will help you. Just remember, I am really a nice guy. Call me (The Colony) 469-951-8577. One shot deal. Conditional: If you pull up next to me on the street, you have to let me pull on you by a minimum of two car lenghts!

Hello first time poster, long time full size Ford lover. 1964 Galaxie 500XL convertible 352 cruise-o. I’m having issues with these after market control arms and maybe it’s just me maybe it’s not I’m not sure. The issue I’m having is they don’t seem to line up as you can see in the pictures...

Hello,
This is a question that I wanted to pose to see if anyone has a back story on these type of brakes. I am using the factory disc brakes off a 1968 LTD parts car for a ground up build of a 1966 galaxie 500 XL. I was always under the assumption that the one year only brakes of 1968 were...
Barn finds are all the rage, so I thought I would share. This is the story of a 1965 Galaxie 500 convertible. Actually a garage find. Pretty typical story, with a twist or two along the way. Warning: this is going to be long.
This is the outside of a suburban garage in central CT. Pretty...
