Ran a new best today.
60': 1.63
1/8: 7.2351 @ 96.11
1/4: 11.31 @ 120.58

Now I just need to upgrade from my $40 traction bars.

Great run gork!!! That Falcon is really flyin' now.

How are you leaving the line? Do you stall it up as much as you can or do you leave at closer to idle?

That is one of the things I need to fix. I have been foot braking it up to about 25-2800 or so. My transmission has a tranny brake, the valve body just needs to be refurbished by PA to get the thing to work correctly. I bought the vb used and the TB has never worked correctly, now I really wish I would have bought a new one.

Nice times. That 120+MPH is impressive.Decent 60 foots out of those drag radials also.Cal Tracs might help some but maybe not.

Yeah I do have plans to put a bit wider tire on the car. I'm hoping by the time I get it all sorted out it'll go around 124 with the better exhaust and some carb tweaking. DA was 1800 on race day.

120 to 124 MPH? That's a lot of HP you're seeking...

I'd like to know how much the car picks up with the 3" exhaust if you have a good 2.5" already. Are you running your times through the exhaust or dumping it at the headers?

Did you engine or chassis dyno this combo?

I would not say any of the current exhaust on the car is good at all. The headers are banged to hell in order to fit the car. I've made the exhaust work for 2 or 3 different sets of headers. The mufflers are the cheapest turbo mufflers available.

It did go 121 yesterday, just not on the best pass. I know it is a decent amount of power to gain, but I am working on further improving the overall setup. The cam was designed for the larger exhaust.
