I just put edelbrock performer RPM heads on my 302 and a edelbrock victor series water pump. My pulleys are not wanting to line up right. it is like they are all too far pushed back. The crank pulley is out farther than any of the others. What could be wrong with this?
Thanks

Your water pump pulley flange is probably pressed on too far. You can use a 2 or 3 jaw puller to adjust the location. You could also get some shims for the pulley from www.cantonracingproducts.com This is a common problem, and not a real big deal.

If the crank pulley is the only one "too far out" ...

I would wonder first off ... Is the crank pulley (Damper actually) fully seated on the crank snout or might it have a little further to go to be seated all the way back?

If it's the only one out of line ... I'd look there first
