what year is that box?and how much power are you going to be putting through it,there is so much t5 info out there,some guys say theyll hold up and some say they wont.i know it all comes back to how you treat them,im just interested in what youre going to be putting in front of it,should be sweet with that 5th gear though

I think its a 90 or a 91 box, I am gonna have it behind a 500hp 351C, in my torino. If it blows up, I plan on taking to modern driveline and having it beefed up. If it blows up, im sure everyone here will hear about it

It is gonna be a daily driver, no slicks, maybe a couple of drag runs here or there.

Did you "crack" the case...for a "look-see", while you have it on the ground?

Check the front bearings...a wiggle test is free.

Just checked, seems ok, slight up and down movement but I haven't come across any tranny that didn't have that. Tag shows it as an 86.5-89 WC T5, its 1352-11-169
