Im insalling a new cam and lifters in a 352, valve lift .484, dur @ .050 is 208, Adv dur is 284, Lobe lift is Int 103, Ext 119.. My question is should i change my valev springs or will the stock ones work with this cam.. Engine gruns great doesnt eat oil.. But i had a collasped lifter.. Ticking noise drives me crazy. its a Hyd cam.

I would get a Edelbrock spring kit, cheap top grade stuff, the shape of the lobes can cause problems for old springs,not just total lift.You can swap springs while you have the heads off to put in the lifters, perfect time for new seals etc.

I installed a similar cam in a stock 302 with stock cylinder heads and had no spring problems. If you want to take the engine about 6,000 rpm you will want new/aftermarket springs.
