Hola,

I have newer aluminum 5 spoke mustang rims running 225/50R17 tires. I believe that these will fit my 1967 Fairlane but can anyone tell me if they have anything similar to this and if it should work?

Gracias

What's the backspacing on the wheels? You'll need 4.5 to 5 inches. Too much more than that and the tire will rub against the leaf spring. Too little and it will rub on the quarter panel. Up front the tires show clear the fenders unless you have a lot of caster in your suspension. Caster is increased by shortening the strut adjustment bringing the wheel forward. It may hit the front of the wheel opening in a turn.

Update..... I sold the new (newer) Mustang rims. I went to Discount Tire and and now have ralleye style rims on on new rubber. On a side note this has improved the ride.
