just trying to give F.M. members a first crack at owning a very sought after mustang. This car is not listed anywhere but is going on ebay soon and I'm sure it will sell for more than $27,000 ...................... its out of my budget otherwise I'd be driving it

Two, every time I open my shop door.

Judging from what I saw at the Pate swap meet this week end, the price seems fair. It's hard to know without more details.

Wish the wife would let me have another.

I would see it as definitely out of my budget.... That's twice what my wifes Cherokee cost her and it was only 1 year old...

It's as sweet as can be and a nice grab, for anyone who can afford it...

I'm a momemaker and restoration mechanic and can barely afford to scratch my bawls....

some specs on it:

a code mustang

fastback with a v-8 cid 4v

82,000 original miles on it. All stock down to the original carb.

front disc brakes

very clean and not a scratch on it anywhere. I saw this car last weekend and was very impressed on how clean it was.

I Would have to see it in person, Pictures hide alot and you would have to be crazy to spend that kind of money without driving it, climbing all over it and seeing it for real. Ebay is nice for cheap stuff but watch-out..... LMO

I encourage you to come see it in person. I would rather do a deal in person than over the internet and wouldn't expect anybody to send me a $30,000 check or money order without seeing the car. Let me know when you want to come out and I'll have it arranged if you are seriously thinking about purchasing a mustang.

secondly I wouldn't post a car here that wasn't top of the line or worth the money. I don't deal in junk and I wouldn't risk ruining my reputation on F.M. as a scam artist.

and on the flip side of the ebay comment it is also a great place to get a deal or an opportunity to own a rare piece of history. True there is alot of junk on ebay and that is why a buyer should do your due diligence and make sure this is the right purchase for you.

Wasn't implying that you where trying to sell junk, please don't take it that way. but with all the internet sales outlets alot of junk is being pushed by some scum bags to unsuspecting and uneducated buyers.

The car in the pictures looks great but like you said it would be wise for a potential buyer to come and see it and deal in person. it makes for a smoother and cleaner deal and your really seeing what you are getting.

sorry, must of misinterpreted what you were saying.

I just figured if somebody is going to drop that much on a vintage car they would spend a few extra bucks for a plane ticket to look in person or pay a car inspection company or an appraiser of your choice to verify the value .

There is an original 4 speed A code 65 up for sale in craigslist in NorCal. Originally went for 13,000 obo... i was first to call. Now it is going for 17,999 (reseller)

was restored about 15 years ago and looks nice in pictures... but up close has some bondo cracks. Car is red on red.

I paid 5,500 for my 66 2 years ago... I am a cheapo!!!

Yes those seats are scat pro rally's. Very nice seats imo, I want a set for my 65, but hehe not original. Very nice car though.
