i just installed a new c4 from tci , i put 4 quarts of fluid in and started car after putting in another 4 quarts of fluid 1st 2nd and 3rd started working but i still cant get reverse , i dont know how much fluid it is supposed to take but the level is reading very high on the dipstick,
anyone have any ideas?

Not a transbrake is it? If so may need transbrake on to get reverse.
If not since you have 3rd , there is a reverse servo piston issue.

Most C4 installations take 9 to 12 quarts. The level of the fluid should be just above the pan rail, so check you have the right dipstick length. However, I would...
Call TCI first to maintain your warranty.

well it was the trans brake but i gotta say im a little dissapointed in the tech support from tci, i wont name any names but the guy i talked to this morning didnt seem to want to help me , he just told me that i was overfilled it and thats why reverse didnt work,


but anyway thanks for the help , i love my new set up cant wait to test it on the strip
