I changed out the blinker switch. Everything else works now but the car will not role over. The solenoid is not working. Just wondering if something in the column wiring could cause this. I am working on a 67 Gal with a 289. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe a wire was knocked loose? Have you tried turning it over from the solenoid or a test light or multi meter to if power is even getting to the solenoid?

I can jump the post and she will fire and run. When the key is turned should one of the small wires on top have 12 volts going to it?

How would I check that? Sorry I am new at this. Is that switch part of the blicker switch assembly? Thanks

With key on NONE of the two wires will have power. the LEFT pip has power then in Crank position and the Right PIP has power when the solenoid is actively engaged.
You might have knocked a wire loose on your ign. switch.
