I've heard lots more complaints about canton than milodon. Canton's don't always fit well and can leak. I bought a steffs pan and I've just about had it with the small oil leaks. It may just be the gasket I used but it didn't fit perfectly flush against the block and the bolt holes didn't line up like they should. If I pull it off, I'll be going with a Milodon pan.

Your best bet is to call Milodon themselves. There stuff is the tops in my opinion.
For example there braided dipstick tube for my C4 Trans is just "tits UP" LoL . Ive never heard anything bad about Milodon.
Good Luck

I've got a Milodon on my 410 stroker. It seems to be a quality piece. I'm not usimg a stud girdle so I can't answer that part of your question. I'm sure a Canton pan would be a good choice too.
Where is humboldt AZ?

I'm using a moroso road race pan with the canton windage tray and stud girdle from DSS. The pan fits perfect (no leaks), looks just like the canton at a much better price.
