Im putting a 92 5.0 in a 67 stang. I have to change the oil pan....Im wondering since i have to change it, should i shell out the cash and buy a nice Milodon high volume one? Later on i will be working up the engine. But I heard that high volume pumps cant work with stock pans...but can low volume pumps work with big pans? Just wondering...dont want two oil pans for one engine. Thanks Ryan

If you can afford it get the 7 qt Canton street pan, you will also need a front sump pickup for the oil pump, I would also use a stock oil pump, my stock oil pump runs about 50-60 lbs pressure depending on RPM, a high volume pump will likely give you to much pressure. The extra oil capacity will help keep the engine cooler.
