I forgot I had this. I picked it up (minus lifters) off some old guy for $25. Can. It's an Autosports Products Inc. p.n. 6006, GFJK-6250-E Shelby cam and lifter set.

Hmmm, somebody has handwritten 271HP Hydraulic on the inside of the box. The factory 271HP engines had a solid lifter cam. Go figure.

Does the cam itself have anything stamped on it? Most cams have something stamped on one end or the other. If not, that cam could be anything.

Good Luck!

I put it in the car, I ran the numbers thru Shelby, and it was a hydraulic version of the 271HP cam, so the book said and the guy I asked. It ran better than the stock cam but not what I thought, so I took it out and got an Erson cheap. I got it mainly for the box. The only Shelby part I can afford.

Thanx Mike
