I'm in the middle of doing the oft-recommended swap to all 65 V8 Manual steering parts on my '64 Falcon.

I thought I'd be able to use my outer tie rod end and adjusters to connect to the new inners I just bought. NOPE. See below. Top is the old setup, bottom is the new setup.

Specifically:
The adjuster is too long
The outer TRE has a smaller thread (1/2-20) than the inner (11/16-18).

To make this work, I'm going to need a new adapter that can adapt different sizes or new outers that have the larger size thread.

My spindles are C3DA 3108 and 3107, which appears to be somewhat of an orphan part, but I agree with this guy that they're V8 parts as mine had 5 lug drums on them originally.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If it was me...I buy the correct 65 parts and do it right and take a loss on the new TRE. I'm a strong believer that steering (and brakes) are the most important part of a vehicle. 63-64 V8 steering parts are different than 65 V8 steering parts.
