This is under the hood and on top of the air flow assembly on the fire wall. I have know Idea what these parts do or how to test them. This is my first restore and I am trying to get it ready for my son to drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where is the vacuum canister. is it the one that is under the glove box area.there is some type of device there with a vacuum hose coming out of it that goes to some controls for a couple of the air flow doors.

Look around the passenger inner fender, or behind the battery. There should be what looks like a large tin can without the label with a vacuum hose on one end.
