Which should I get for my 331?

Both show power from 1500 to 6500 RPM.

Both even have the same carb pad height so hood clearance will be the same.

I'm more interested in low and mid-range torque and horsepower.

But it will also be a show car. Will the air-gap look cooler?

I'm just looking for some pros and cons for both. Thanks!

Both will perform almost identically... with maybe 1-2hp advantage to the air-gap... but at the expense of cold weather warm-up and driveability. For a show car, the air-gap is definitely way cooler looking IMO... but a lot more money for something that just looks better.

Well, the air gap is exactly $76.07 more at Summit. With all the money I spent so far, what's another 80 bucks?

The 1 to 2 hp wouldn't matter to me, but how bad will it affect drivability? and in what way?

Thanks for the replies... don't think I'll be seeing snow any time soon. A hurricane maybe, but not snow...

Actually the air gap has ben shown in recent tests to best the victor jr by almost 20 horse across the board, so I'd definately give it a try.
