Is there a special puller for this? I have several different types of gear/wheel/etc but none seem to be working for me.

The "Pickel fork" may destroy the arm, so (I suggest) don't use it unless you already know that you are going to replace the arm.

Check with your local rental store or even AutoZone, Checkers, Kragan - they may have loaner or rentals for these kinds of tools.

do you mean to remove it from the control valve ?

If so, you need a tie rod end puller

I picked one up at a harbor freight type store for $20, you tighten that sucka down and it will pause for a minute, the BAM ! it falls out.

$15.00 tool at most car shops.... looks like a mini wheel puller
