I bought a box full of Holley parts. I was planning on building another 750. In the box is an aftermarket metering plate made by Weber. It appears to have external jets. Can anyone give me any info on it? I might try to use it but would like to know a little more about it. Thanks.

That plate was popular here in europe to use weber jets. That way you won't spill fuel when changing jets. Also makes the idle tuneable with the idle jets all webers had..Those jet numbers are millimeters.150=1,5mm f.E.
Bye the way:Weber not only makes Edelbrock carbs. They also did a lot of Holleys, like the 5200 2bbl Pinto carb.
..hope that helps,

Those jets look like the ones that I have in my Weber 44 IDF carb. You can change the jet, emulsion tube, and air correction jet. You also have the idle jets you can change. Makes the carb much more tuneable that your standard holley.

I've looked at a few at ebay, but usually, I'm not the only one

Can you adjust the power valve restriction with jets as well? I find that a major limitation of Holleys. When you change jets for full power, you automatically change cruise calibration as well. With jets in the power enrichment circuit, you don't have this problem anymore.
