Looking at other sites I learned about a Control Valve Eliminator (CVE). Looks like an excellent product and idea. Is anybody using it on a 64 futura? The part I found is for the 66 and up. Let me hear from yall before I spend the bucks for it. This trail and error crap is breaking the car budget. I really dont want to just remove the belt and experiment with it..... Yall can see the product here How to Convert Power Steering to Manual Steering - Hot Rod Magazine

You could try this. It says it’s for 67-70 mustangs but when you click on the link it shows a bunch of other cars to be used for.

Thanks Jason6368. I have since found several of the eliminators but have not decided yet. I did remove the power steering belt and am enjoying the feel. I'll more than likely remove and shelve all the power steering stuff. Although I'm old, I feel more in control of the car now. Thanks again and stay safe.
