why are some 5.0L prod rod have scalloped big ends and some dont,and why doe some production 5.0L cranks have a beefier main area at the #3 journal,is one crank/rod better than the other as far as strength?have a explorer short block crank is beefier in the main area on #3 journal than my mustangs 5.0L.any idea as to why?
