The wheels are not new exactly, I have had them for years. I've waited along time to get them on there. Notice the drop out back! LOL!

looks good wildo. your galaxie looks like it went from a nice daily driver to a restored classic in the time it takes to change wheels.

Yeah, I thought they look'd like Rodlite's. Actually look pretty darn good on the ol' Gal.

I still like the '64 and '65 Galaxie's the best. Just an opinion and not meant to offend anyone.

None taken.

I was happy with the drop we got from going from that big ol' 255-70-15 to a 245-60-15. A 255-60-15 would be perfection in my opinion. But hey, We paid $50 for those rear tires (used) with good tread that should get us thru next summer easy (depending on how many burnouts happen!
).

I bought these wheels for my old 73 Torino and they have been sitting pretty much since I bought them (used).

Thanks for the kind words you guys AND DEB!! It means alot! We are getting there.

Thanks everyone!

I have a small video for you guys. This thing spin's them EASY. I left in D so the second gear shift came quickly. I also do not have the vac. line for the modulator hooked up just yet.

On my PC its a 1.89MB file. So it wont take that long for those on dial up.

headers-3" pipes with cross-over-flowmasters dumping out at the axle. Thanks.

Very cool...whats your tire size? I need to upgrade the stock trans. and to a 3.50 posi. I can't break loose my 275/60's with the stock open 2.87. Or it just needs to be tuned by someone who actually knows what they are doing.
